Overview
The Doctor of Psychology (Psy D.) in Clinical Psychology program follows a practitioner-scholar model designed to meet international professional standards of practice in Clinical Psychology with a multicultural emphasis. The program integrates coursework, psychometrics, supervised practicum and internship in clinical settings, and a doctoral dissertation, emphasizing academics, experiential learning, skills and research. Students gain expertise in psychological assessment, Application of psychometric tests, diagnosis, psychotherapy modalities, and clinical report writing with a strong focus on ethical practice based on the American Psychological Association’s standards that enable graduates to handle the global complex and emerging mental health issues in the 21st Century

- Conduct empirical research in clinical psychology.
- Apply psychotherapeutic theoretical orientations in clinical settings.
- Conduct client case conceptualization and develop treatment plans.
