Program Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the Bachelor of Science in Finance degree program, the student will be able to:
- Determine the value of financial assets and evaluate their appropriateness for potential investors.
- Formulate, evaluate and communicate portfolio management strategies.
- Conduct fundamental and technical analysis of stocks
- Establish current trends in the financial markets and institutions
- Apply public finance concepts in making value maximization decisions for the public sector
- Establish the ethical and legal dimensions with regard to investment and public finance management

Admission Requirements
Admission to undergraduate degree programs are based on academic achievement at the secondary level. All applicants are expected to satisfy procedures and criteria for admission to USIU-Africa, and to submit acceptable original documents which verify that they have satisfactorily completed, and met all admission requirements.
Applicants for admissions into the undergraduate degree programs are subject to selective screening based on academic achievement at the secondary level.
