Certified Ethical Hacker Training Program

School of Science and Technology

Overview

The Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) short course at USIU-Africa provides in-depth, hands-on training in ethical hacking, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessment. The program is designed to equip learners with the skills needed to identify, analyze, and mitigate security weaknesses in computer systems, networks, and applications—using the same tools and techniques employed by malicious attackers, but in a legal and ethical manner.

Learners gain practical experience in key areas such as reconnaissance, system hacking, network security, web application security, malware threats, cryptography, and risk assessment. The course emphasizes real-world scenarios, enabling participants to test systems, uncover vulnerabilities, and recommend effective security controls to strengthen organizational defenses.

As a globally recognized cybersecurity certification, CEH is considered a benchmark credential for cybersecurity and information security professionals. Completing this short course prepares learners for roles such as Ethical Hacker, Penetration Tester, Cybersecurity Analyst, Security Consultant, and Information Security Officer. It also provides a strong foundation for advanced cybersecurity certifications and careers in cyber defense, risk management, and digital forensics.
