Overview
The MBA (Health Leadership and Management) program is developed for managers who need professional development and progression in the light of dynamic organizations in the Health Services Industry. The concentration will specially equip graduates with a range of competencies, knowledge, skills, attitudes and problem-solving abilities to enable graduates respond to the need for successful management and leadership of health systems. This is expected to improve leadership of organizations in the health care industry and consequently bring about improved health outcomes in Africa. It also provides an opportunity for participants to upgrade their management and leadership skills without necessarily travelling outside Kenya to pursue such studies.
Program Delivery
- World class faculty from USIU-Africa, and qualied, experienced corporate executives
- 30 students per year in a class at USIU-Africa (Day or Evening Option)
- 1-week Global Study Tour of key health centers around the world chosen annually for their relevance to current global business issues
- Daytime Option: 9.00am – 6.00pm (7 sessions of 2 weeks each spread throughout the year)
- Evening Option: 5.40pm – 9.00pm (Monday – Thursday)

Admission Requirements
The applicants must meet the following requirements:
Undergraduate degree from an accredited university.
Minimum GPA 2.5 on a scale of 4 or Upper Second-Class Honors.
Have a minimum of two years of relevant managerial experience.
