Assistant Professor of Physiology

Kahiri, Caroline N., PhD.

Dr. Caroline Kahiri is an Assistant Professor of Human Physiology. She holds a Ph. D in Physiology from Department of Physiology and Pharmacology, University of Western Ontario, (Canada). Her Doctorate work focused on the role of intercellular communication in reproductive functions. She also did Post-doctoral work investigating chemokine expression in placentation. She holds a MSc. Degree in comparative mammalian Physiology from University of Nairobi (Kenya) addressing reproductive physiology of the bushbaby (Galago Garnetti). Her basic degree was BSc. (Hons) in Biochemistry and Zoology, from Nairobi University. Dr Kahiri research interest is focused on unraveling the causes of infertility in both the male and the female. Dr Kahiri has over twelve years teaching experience.
